Atlanta — Marietta-based Columbia Properties, Inc has sold The Village Shoppes at Windermere, a 75,000 square foot shopping center in Suwanee, Georgia to USAA Real Estate Co.  The center is anchored by Publix Supermarkets and includes a diverse mix of casual eateries, salons and professional offices.  An upscale design reflects state-of-the-art architecture and construction.  “We broke ground on The Village Shoppes at Windermere in February 2008”, says Dan O’Neill, Managing Partner at Columbia Properties, “We are very proud of the fact that we were able to get it built and leased up to 98% occupancy in under two years during an incredibly turbulent time in our economy”.  Columbia Properties will continue to lease and manage the shopping center in partnership with USAA Real Estate Co.
