Atlanta — Marietta-based Columbia Properties, Inc, in partnership with Merganser Enterprises, announced the groundbreaking of The Village at Millers Chapel in Conyers, Georgia. The shopping center will be 75,550 square feet upon completion and is anchored by Publix Supermarkets.  Publix is relocating their successful store from across the street to this site on the going home side of the road and adjacent to a busy Target anchored shopping center.  “We are very excited to once again partner with Publix to relocate a store to a more visible site with a new prototype”, says Rob O’Neill, Partner at Columbia Properties, “ In addition to Publix, The Village at Millers Chapel will include 30,000 square feet of local retail space that is leasing up very quickly”.  The development is anticipated to be complete and open for business in the summer of 2012.
