Atlanta — Marietta-based Columbia Properties, Inc has acquired the 63,000 square foot Trowbridge Crossing shopping center in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The center is 100% occupied and is anchored by Publix Supermarkets. Columbia purchased the center in an off-market transaction from Charter Hall Retail REIT, a real estate investment trust based in Australia for $6.7 million. “We’ve spent the better part of the last three years looking for opportunities in the Southeast to acquire well located retail shopping centers and Trowbridge Crossing fits that strategy perfectly,” says Andy Campbell, Partner at Columbia Properties.
